Potato rolls with walnuts
You don't know what to make out of potatoes? I want to introduce you to the unusual and tasty dish that may surprise and delight your loved ones. There is no doubt that the potato is self-sufficient, but with crunchy nuts, flavorful onions it takes on a particular charm and special taste, making this dish unforgettable.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    1 kg

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Onion

    400 g

  • Melted butter

    60 g

  • Walnuts

    100 g

  • Cream

    250 ml

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Parsley

  • Marjoram

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Prepare the products.

Potatoes my brush and put bake in the oven for 60 minutes at temperature 180 - 200°.

Ready warm potatoes in half lengthwise into two halves and with a spoon take out the pulp.

Mash potato press or kartoffelsalat. Leave it to cool down.

Into the cooled potatoes enter 2 eggs, 1 tsp salt 200 g flour. Hands knead smooth dough. Leave the dough for 15 minutes alone.

For the filling onions cleaned from the husk, wash and finely chop.

20 g melted butter heat in the pan, add the oil, chopped onion, chopped parsley and marjoram. Marjoram I was not a fresh - has replaced the dry Italian herbs. On low heat for 5-7 minutes proprium onions with herbs. Add salt and pepper to taste. Leave it to cool down.

On the covered with flour a work surface roll out the potato dough into a rectangle 5 mm thick size 30 * 60 cm

Nuts chop with a knife until coarse crumbs. I love nuts dried, so before crushing the nuts slightly toasted in the oven for a more pronounced odor and taste.

Collect the roll. On the dough evenly cooled onion, leveling with a knife, cover the top with chopped nuts.

Gently roll the roulade.

Cut the roll into washer 1-2 cm in thickness. In a pan add 40 g butter and fry the washers on both sides, about 2 minutes. Fried rolls put in a container for baking.

For filling whisk whisk 3 eggs, 250 ml cream and 2 tbsp sour cream. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Fill our snail potato mixture and put in oven preheated to 180° for 15 - 20 minutes.
