Apple pie
Suggest You try a delicious Apple pie, which is served in trapeze exaltation of the Holy cross of Jerusalem Stavropigialny female monastery! In August last year my daughters went to the Moscow sanatorium, near which was situated the convent. Every day we went to trapezing and were treated to delicious Apple pie. So it was good that I asked for the recipe and to my surprise, I wrote it down on a piece of paper))) Now I share with You this gorgeous cake. And the recipe I want to give my beloved friend Masha (Mary Stone) in honor of her Birthday!

Ingredients

  • Margarine

    125 g

  • Sugar

    160 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Sour cream

    20 g

  • Vanilla

    1 g

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Flour

    340 g

  • Leavening agent

    10 g

  • Apple

    1 kg

  • Lemon juice

    2 tsp

Melt margarine, add sugar and stir. When margarine is cool, add eggs, sour cream, cinnamon, vanilla and stir.

Next, pour the flour mixed with baking powder and knead soft dough. At first I put 300g of flour, and then on the table still spiked flour. In the end I went 340g. Guided by its flour. The dough turns soft and tender. Put the dough in plastic and put into the refrigerator while preparing the filling.

For the filling, wash the apples, cut in half, remove the core and grate on a coarse grater. Can remove the peel, I do not mind it. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice, add sugar (and cinnamon if you like) and stir.

The dough, remove from refrigerator. Pinch off dough from 100 grams to decorate. The rest is put in the form (or baking sheet) and hand leveled over the entire surface. I have a form of 30*25 cm

Put the Apple mass, pre-pressing (!!!) it well. Flatten all surfaces. Definitely need to press the weight, otherwise the extracted juice will not give the cake to grilled and will be a mess instead of a pie. Decorate the top with lattice of dough, which we postponed. I'm still on the corners made of roses.

Bake in preheated oven for 40-50 minutes at 180 degrees. I after 30 minutes the top was covered with foil and continue pestering. Be guided by your oven. Our Apple pie is ready.
