Cooking
For the cake we will prepare a shortcrust pastry with yoghurt. It is very light and delicate and perfectly suited to dense meat filling. Combine the flour, butter, yogurt and sugar in blender, mix and knead the dough. Divide into 2 balls - one bigger, the other smaller and send to 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
Onion, garlic and meat into small pieces and fry in a pan. When the meat is Golden brown, add soy sauce and saute 5min.
Will add chopped dried apricots, it will give a slight sweet flavor that goes well with meat, rice and pastry. At the end add the cognac and let cook until the liquid is digested.
For this dish we'll need basmati rice mix that I buy in single-serve packages. Very comfortable, and the rice always turns out perfect. Boil the rice in boiling water 15 minutes, add a little salt. Combine the rice and toppings and let them cool.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll a big ball, put it in a form that will nicolem fork and send in the oven for 10 minutes.
Spread the filling on the pastry, roll out the second layer. I use the roller to create the pattern, but not necessarily. You can just close the second layer of dough.
Cut the scraps of dough, make little strips and put on the edge. Get a small bumpers. Greased pie with egg yolk and bake it in the oven for 25 minutes.
Here is our pie and ready. It is fragrant, tasty and very tender. I liked its taste with a delicate sauce of yoghurt, salt and fresh cilantro. Bon appetit!
