Cooking
Wash the oranges, dry them and finely slice them (peel to remove is not necessary). Put in a saucepan with 350 ml water and sugar. Stir and cook 20 minutes, until peel is tender. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

The rest of the oranges along with the syrup mix in blender until smooth.
Flour, baking powder, almonds and poppy seeds to mix. Beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy. Add the orange puree and mix gently. Add the flour mixture and very gently stir.
Pour the batter on top of the oranges. Put in oven at T=180* for 40-45 minutes.
Cool and turn over to the oranges on top.
Prepare the cream: zest of 2 oranges grate on a fine grater, squeeze the juice. Beat eggs with orange juice, add sugar, oil and zest. Place the bowl on a steam bath. Stir over low heat until the mixture thickens.
