Description

Hungarian roll
Dear cooks, today I want to introduce you to the bread recipe, popular in Hungary, which won my heart once and for all. Bake for the third time in a row, that happens to me very rarely. In the original use phyllo dough, but I suggest to use puff pastry, which is wrapped in a tender biscuit dough and berry filling. The effect is simply stunning! It is so unusual, so fragile, tender and flavorful that I'm sure you will fall in love with these rolls as well as I do. This recipe is by far became my favorite, especially because the preparation takes a little time, products are used the most ordinary and the toppings can be changed according to your taste and depending on the time of year.

Cooking

step-0
Sift flour, mix with baking powder, blueberries, wash and dry. In addition to blueberries you can use almost any berries or grapes, which season is now in full swing.
step-1
Baking tray lay a baking paper. Puff pastry divide the dough into two portions, roll out into a rectangle, long side of which is approximately equal to the length of the pan, the thickness of the dough about 3 mm. Transfer the dough on a separate sheet of baking paper. To do the same with the other half of the dough.
step-2
Beat eggs with sugar until thick foam. Still whisking, gradually add four tablespoons of very hot water.
step-3
Add to egg mixture the flour with the baking powder, stir gently. It turns out thick pastry. On the laid paper baking sheet put one sheet of dough along with the paper on which he lay. Mid layer put half of the biscuit dough and generously sprinkle with the berries.
step-4
The side edges of the wrap and press with your fingers.
step-5
Then biscuit dough on two sides along the length of the puff pastry, making a roll and using the paper on which it lies to turn the roll seam side down. Not much to tighten, as the dough inside will increase in size. But even if it happens that the roll breaks, do not worry, everything will be baked, the taste is not affected.
step-6
To do the same with another layer of dough. To do rolls on the table without paper is impossible, you then will not be able to transfer to the baking sheet. Put the rolls in the preheated oven and bake Paterno 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Optionally, the rolls before baking grease eggs, I did not grease.
step-7
The finished rolls remove from oven and allow to cool.
step-8
The cooled rolls sprinkle with powdered sugar.
step-9
Cut the roulade with a serrated knife into slices of arbitrary width, not very subtly.
step-10
Rolls out onto a plate. Ready!
step-11
It's such a "negatine", words can not convey!
step-12
Bon appetit!
