Rabbit with rosemary
This is a simple recipe for cooking rabbit with Gerard Depardieu... From his cookbook "My Kitchen". I recommend to try to all fans of the rabbit meat. The whole taste of this dish is the perfect combination of simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • Rabbit

    1 piece

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Dry white wine

    250 ml

  • Shallots

    6 piece

  • Garlic

    5 tooth

  • Rosemary

    4 sprig

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Black pepper

    1 pinch

  • Water

    1 cup

Wash the rabbit under running water. Cut into portions.

In a large saucepan with a heavy bottom melt the butter, put the rabbit and fry on all sides until Golden brown.

Clean the shallots and garlic (garlic can not remove the peel). Wash rosemary sprigs and separate the "needles".

Once the rabbit is browned, pour the wine, add a glass of water, add salt and pepper to taste. Put the onions, garlic and rosemary. Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour. During this time a couple of times to turn the rabbit pieces.
