Fried tomatoes in cheese batter
Very juicy and tasty appetizer of tomato. Simple and fast, suitable for daily menu and festive table!

Ingredients

  • Tomato

    5 piece

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Dutch cheese

    75 g

  • Flour

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Spices

The most important condition - the tomatoes should be tight, sturdy. Wash tomatoes, pour for a few seconds with boiling water, then easily remove the peel from each tomato.

Cut into slices (I have the thickness of around 4 mm), a little salt, pepper, garlic RUB on a fine grater and put on top of tomatoes.

Make the batter: egg with a fork, mix with 2 tablespoons of sour cream (I added 1 spoon sour cream and 1 teaspoon of homemade mayonnaise).

Add grated cheese (you can use any cheese, I mixed plain Dutch with mozzarella) and mix well. Optionally, the batter can add salt, but I usually don't.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Slices of tomato to dip in batter and fry until Golden brown on one side, flip, reduce heat and after a minute remove with a spatula. I have laid out on a napkin to soak up excess oil.

Our tomatoes are ready!!! Delicious in hot or cold!
