Allow me to offer you a cake with plums. Crumbly, fragile, delicate dough that melts in your mouth like. And juicy, fragrant, moderately sweet with light sour, plum filling. A delicious pie! Pretty simple and quick to prepare. Come on in, help yourself.

Cooking
Mix the sifted flour, starch (corn or potato - principle does not matter), salt and baking powder.
Softened butter to combine with the icing sugar and egg. Just lightly mix the ingredients with a fork or spoon.
Parts pouring the dry mixture, knead the dough. First mix with a fork/spoon and at the last stage to gather the dough into a ball by hand.
Long and careful kneading of the dough is required.
The bottom of a split form (diameter 20 cm) to lay baking paper. In the form put the dough, spread it and make a fairly high sides on the edge of the form. Wash plums, remove pits and cut each into 6-8 pieces. (depending on size of plums)
On the dough evenly pour half of brown sugar. (for lack of brown sugar you can use regular white sugar)
Lay out the slices of plums in a circle, slice by slice, moving from the outer edge to the center.

And then the remaining sugar. With regards to sugar... the amount, please adjust according to your taste. If you have a plum sour, increase the sugar up to 70-80 g.
Bake pie in preheated to 180° oven 40-45 minutes. To remove the cake from the oven and IMMEDIATELY sprinkle it with powdered sugar. (1-2 tbsp) to Cool it completely in the form. Hot and even warm cake is VERY fragile and may break.
The cooled cake carefully and very carefully transfer to a plate. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar. You're done!
