Fish marinated in Greek
Cold appetizer! A great alternative to jelly or filler on the holiday table. And during the week the family will be happy!! Don't know if the Greeks about this course))) but in our family this fish is called that way!!

Ingredients

  • Fish

    1.5 kg

  • Flour

    100 g

  • Vegetable oil

    100 g

  • Water

    1.5 l

  • Salt

  • Vinegar

    0.5 cup

  • Black pepper

    10 piece

  • Bay leaf

    4 piece

  • Onion

    2 piece

The fish is cleaned, gut, cut off the head and cut into slices 1.5 cm thick. Salt, sprinkle with spices for fish.

To prepare the marinade. Pour into a saucepan 1.5 liters of water, add salt -1ch.l, peppercorns and Bay leaf. Bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and add the vinegar. (marinade should be well tart)

Fish roll in flour and fry in vegetable oil until tender

Cool the fish and the marinade. Onion cut into thin half-rings. Put in a deep bowl with layers of fish and onions.

Pour the marinade to cover the fish. Slightly flatten the plate. If warm, to give to cool completely in the fridge overnight! (or 12 hours)
