Almost meat patties
These burgers do not contain a single gram of meat, but the taste did slightly resemble cutlets of tender chicken. My children loved it. And the recipe is simple, found it in my old note-book; where copied – do not remember. Cutlets can be cooked in vegetable version, if you exclude the egg.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    500 g

  • Walnuts

    10 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Spices

  • Vegetable oil

Boil the potatoes. I'm a little add some salt and put a couple of lavrusik.

Walnuts clear from the shell. I already cleaned, they should take about 50 grams (a tenth of the weight of the potatoes). I nuts always washed and lightly roasted in the microwave or in the pan – the taste becomes more intense.

Onion finely chop and saute in butter until Golden brown.

Drain potatoes from the water, slightly cool it and mince it together with nuts. Add onion, salt to taste, spices ( I have a bit of coriander), egg. And some flour so that the dough could shape. A lot of flour is not necessary – about a tablespoon. And if you are cooking a meatless option, instead of the egg put an extra spoon of flour. Lepim patties, dip them in breadcrumbs (I was not) or in flour.

And fry on medium heat until Golden brown. Out of this number ingredients I got 14 small meatballs.
