Tomato-lentil soup
Another simple and delicious recipe for lentil soup. If you like tomato soup, try this one!

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    80 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    250 g

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Broth

    400 ml

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

  • Paprika sweet

Except for lentils (brand Mistral, of course), small onions, carrots, canned tomatoes and garlic cloves, which are in the photo, we will also need: olive oil, broth, tomato paste, paprika powder, salt and black pepper.

Let's start. To start, cut the onion into cubes, carrots grate on a coarse grater. Let's warm the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and fry the onions and carrots.

Then add the broth and lentils. Leave to stew for 15 minutes, until the lentils begin to soften.

Now put in a pan everything else: tomato paste, canned tomatoes, finely chopped garlic, add the paprika, salt, and pepper. Leave to cook until tender lentils, it will take another 15 minutes.

Remove from the heat, take a hand blender and...

... soup instantly becomes that's such a disgusting green color. Alas.

Before serving, warm the soup again. Pour on plates, sprinkle top of toast or crackers. All! Bon appetit!
