Cooking
So, before you start, you should decide what degree of readiness cabbage you like - gently-stewed or "hrustenko". If "with hrustenko" - steps boiling cabbage can skip, but if soft, it... Cut out the cabbage stalk. It was much easier than I thought.
Put the cabbage into the pot, pour hot water and leave to stew on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes. Remove from pans, let cool slightly. And start to remove the leaves. After cooking they become soft and pliable. Always (!!!) to drain the water, excess liquid in the cake to anything.
While drain the liquid, make the sauce - mix the sour cream, tomato paste, salt and black pepper.
On the bottom of the form (form must be on the cover!) laid a layer of cabbage leaves,
Pour two tablespoons of sauce, again a layer of cabbage leaves, layer of sauce... Cabbage leaves need to be clamped to the layers tightly to each other, otherwise the finished cake will fall apart. And do this until you run out products.
Last layer of sauce. Cover with a lid and sent in a preheated 180C oven for 2 hours.
