My favorite soup of green lentils
Soup of fast preparation. Lentils do not require soaking.

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    1 cup

  • Vermicelli

    0.5 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Broth

    4 cup

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    1 tsp

  • Parsley

    3 piece

  • Lemon

    1 Tbsp

Create yourself a good mood, helps me "sabre Dance" (A. Khachaturian) from the ballet "Gayane".

Prepare in advance a set of relevant products (saves time!).

If you don't want vermicelli or noodles seethe, it is possible to fry them without oil until Golden brown. (I got a little burned - was distracted by the photographs).

Lentils, rinse and cover with water. Onion very finely chopped or grated. Fry the onions in butter, add tomato paste and red pepper. After a few minutes add to the pot of water or broth (I had frozen chicken broth) and the lentils. For a few minutes until the lentils are tender you can put in a pot of pasta or noodles.

And to give a super-tasty acidity before serving in each plate, squeeze a little lemon juice (to taste). Add salt to taste. Soup cook enough to go around twice. Store it in the refrigerator, but not freeze. Before we eat the soup a second time, carefully boil it, preferably in a microwave oven. Delicious and fun meal! Sonia (8+)
