Vegetable Solyanka
Salsola belongs to the Russian cuisine, it was originally called the peasant woman. Soups are usually meat, fish or mushroom. Today I prepared the vegetable stew. It is based on salty pickles and peppers, also zest will add olives and lemon.

Ingredients

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Pickled cucumber

    2 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Olives

    3 Tbsp

  • Sorrel

    0.5 coup

  • Greens

    0.5 coup

  • Sunflower oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Lemon

  • Tomato paste

    3 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

Cooking

Potatoes clean, cut into cubes and toss in boiling water or vegetable broth.

Onion cut into cubes, carrots grate on a coarse grater and fry in sunflower oil "Oleyna".

Pickled cucumbers cut into cubes.

Also cut pickled pepper. You can substitute fresh or put both.

When carrots are soft, add to pan of pickles and peppers. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the tomato paste, I have a home made of tomatoes, peppers and herbs. Add a little broth and simmer for 5 minutes.

Steamed vegetables, add to pan with potatoes, which by this time is almost ready. Fall asleep on top of sliced black olives. Proverjaem another 2-3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste

Add the sorrel and herbs, and a Bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste. Boil for a few minutes, turn off the heat and closing the lid, give the bag to infuse for 15 minutes.
