This recipe is taken from the book "Cakes and muffins". Great book with wonderful step-by-step photos and accessible recipes. The taste is smooth, nuts are amazing, cognac - flavored. All together - an incredible cupcake that will please even the most picky guests. Tested on their own mother.

Cooking
Cream the butter and sugar need to be whipped to the formation of air masses (about 5 minutes).
One to enter eggs, each time stirring the dough.
In sour cream add soda and stir. Keep in mind that the cream will increase in volume.
The dough in turn enter the screening sour cream and flour. Knead the dough the consistency of thick cream.
Prepare the nuts, I used walnuts and hazelnuts. Grind them in a blender and add a little brandy.

Bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven. Test on a toothpick has not been canceled :) the Cupcake is incredibly soft, moist, fragrant and delicious!
