Homemade hamburger buns
I want to share with you the most delicious recipe for hamburger buns, I tried! These muffins are truly my favorite! Prepared them many times (like hamburgers, and not only for them...) and the buns always turn out perfect.. so I dare to hope that the recipe successfully and functionally extinct, as the composition of ingredients and cooking time!

Ingredients

  • Yeast

    7 g

  • Water

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    75 g

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Milk

    370 ml

  • Flour

    650 g

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Water

    1 tsp

  • Sesame

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

In a large bowl pour warm water and add yeast, leave for 5 minutes while we prepare all the other ingredients. Butter previously melted and cooled to room temperature. Add the yeast melted butter and honey. Stir with a whisk. Then add the milk and egg (all room temperature) and again stir everything until smooth.

Gradually adding the sifted flour and knead the dough. In the end, put salt. Knead the dough for at least 8 minutes. This can be done manually, but you can knead using the kneading.

In the end, the dough turns out very nice, smooth, elastic consistency. Gather it into a ball and place in a large bowl, pre-oiled olive (any vegetable) oil. Leave for proofing for 1.5-2 hours.

After 1 hour and 40 minutes the dough is well risen.

Put it on a work surface slightly covered with flour, punch down and divide into 12 equal parts. Pieces of dough are obtained 108 g. Each piece of dough slightly stretch your hand, and then gather a "knot" by wrapping it to the center from all sides.

Thus formed rolls to lay out on a baking sheet at a small distance from each other, seam side down. On one tray can fit 6 rolls.

Cover buns with foil (or kitchen towel) and leave for proofing for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. mix the Egg with water and stir. Lubricate the rolls with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional).

I bake one pan of rolls, and then the second.

Bake in a hot oven for 15-18 minutes, until Golden brown.
