Potato salad with herring and crackers
Vegetable salad with potatoes, herring and black bread, seasoned with vegetable mayonnaise is a wonderful dish! Rich, spicy and fairly easy. Recommend. As a bonus here is a method of pickling onions and the composition of the marinade.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    2 piece

  • Herring

    200 g

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Bread

    75 g

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Mayonnaise

    3 Tbsp

  • Greens

Potatoes cleaned, cut into 1x1 cm cubes and boil until soft. You can pre-cook the potatoes in their skins and use it in a salad. Herring fillet cut into small cubes. With bread cut off crusts, cut into small cubes and fry until Golden brown in vegetable oil.

Onion cleaned, cut into thin quarter rings and pour the marinade: half a Cup of weak (3%) of vinegar, a teaspoon of sugar and half a Cup of boiling water. Leave to cool and recline on a sieve. If you have a sweet bow, it can marinate. Instead of onion you can use half a Cup of green, cut into slices of about 1 cm.
