Poulet Saut Marengo - Chicken Marengo
The recipe is a little bit not original. Changed for existing products, but tried to keep the French spirit in this dish. For the contest "One day in France"

  • Dry white wine

  • Flour

  • Bay leaf

  • Olive oil

  • Butter

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Chicken cut into small pieces, dip them in a mixture of salt, pepper and flour. In a pan melt the butter, add a little olive and fry the chicken pieces.

Coarsely cut onion (if small, into 4 pieces), garlic, tomatoes. If you irritate the skin, then you need to pre-rinse the tomatoes with boiling water and remove the skin. Add 1 Cup of wine (I have only semi-sweet, took it was very tasty). Add the Bay leaves. Cover with a lid and on medium heat simmer for 25 minutes.
