Description
German quarkkuchen is another unusual variant of the dessert with cottage cheese. Quark in German, cheese and Kuchen - a pie. Hence the name. Filling quarkkuchen very gentle and airy, which makes it different from ordinary casseroles, and the dough is simple (like shortbread for the pie). I advise everyone to try. Very tasty!

Cooking
Prepare your ingredients:
Make the dough. RUB cold butter with sugar, add flour, knead into a ball.
Take 2/3 of the dough to crumbs and put the rest on the bottom of a split form, we stamp hands and Abraam in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Make filling. In a saucepan pour the milk and pour the sugar, bring to a boil, add the semolina and poppy seeds, stir. Turn off the heat and leave for 10min. Weight should be like thick cream.
Whisk the cottage cheese with the egg using a blender. Mix cottage cheese and milk-semolina mass, mix well.
Take out of the refrigerator the dough, spread on a filling, sprinkled on top with crumbs, put in a preheated 180град. oven for about an hour.
Our quarkkuchen ready. A little tip: let the cake cool slightly after you remove it from the oven. The mass will thicken slightly and can be easily cut into pieces. Or first slice, and after some time serve. Bon appetit! :)
