Christmas chocolate cake
Infinitely chocolate cake with nuts and dried cranberries. Merry Christmas!

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

  • Sugar

  • Butter

    180 g

  • Cocoa powder

    50 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    2 tsp

  • Flour

    220 g

  • Leavening agent

    10 g

  • Cranberry

    50 g

  • Walnuts

    50 g

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Ginger

    1 tsp

  • Cognac

    3 Tbsp

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    30 g

  • Dark chocolate

    90 g

  • Milk

    50 ml

  • Topping pastry

Cooking

Pre-soak the cranberries in brandy. Better at night. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. I have with natural vanilla from Dr. Oetker. Add butter room temperature, beat.

Enter the flour, cocoa, baking powder. Mix well. Add cranberries, crushed nuts. Leave some nuts for decoration. Mix well.

Form grease with oil or covered with parchment paper. Bake at 180 °C for about an hour until dry skewers. Be guided by your oven. If the top starts to burn, cover with foil.

With oranges remove the zest with a vegetable peeler, squeeze the juice. The juice is mixed with sugar, bring to a boil. Chocolate pour the milk and melt in a water bath or in a microwave. The finished cake is still hot, pour orange syrup. Cool. Pour frosting, decorate with chopped peel, nuts, sprinkles Dr. Oetker. Merry Christmas!
