Peasant fish pie
In the fishing villages of France had a tradition to bake cakes with fish, especially when fish left over from yesterday, not enough to feed the whole family. This cake is prepared quickly, and the family never went hungry :) we bring to your attention the recipe is a modern version of fish pie.

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Yeast

    11 g

  • Cheese

    100 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Pepper pink

  • Salt

  • Fish fillets

    300 g

  • Leeks

    1 piece

  • Butter

    20 g

  • Salt

Cooking

Onion cut as you like - half rings or cubes and fry in vegetable (refined) oil or butter.

Cut small cubes of fish fillet, about 1,5x1,5cm and fry a couple of minutes to grabbed the crust, and the inside of the fish remained juicy and tender. To cool down a bit.

Grate cheese on a grater and set aside in strontium, we will be useful later.

Now for the test. Beat eggs with salt, continuing to whisk, pour the milk and vegetable oil.

Mix the flour with the yeast and sift into our milk mixture. Knead the dough with the consistency of thick cream.

Fish mixed with onions and put it directly into the dough, to the same spread previously grated cheese and crushed pink pepper. Everything is neat and mix well.

Grease the pan a piece of butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs and lay a baking paper. Spread the mixture into the form and put it in the oven, preheated to 160 degrees, about 40-45 minutes (the cake should be lightly browned). Bon appetit!
