Ginger cookies with fresh ginger
Good morning to you, dear cooks! It's spring and many suffer from colds. I suggest you start the day with a fragrant and very useful cookies from ginger root. Ginger is the prevention and treatment of various colds, a beneficial effect on the digestive system, beneficial effect on blood vessels, strengthens and purifies them, decreasing the level of cholesterol in the blood. This is not a complete list of advantages of ginger. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Sugar

    75 g

  • Ginger

    50 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Leavening agent

    1.5 tsp

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Fresh ginger root to grate.

Butter room temperature cut into cubes, add to the ginger and add sugar. Stir until smooth.

I used brown sugar TM "Mistral"

Add honey and egg and mix well.

Add flour connected with the baking powder and knead the dough. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours.

After 3 hours, remove dough and divide into small pieces. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and put on baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Top slightly flatten each ball with a spatula and put the pan in the preheated to 180C (375F) oven for 15-20 minutes.

Ready cookies cool completely.
