Beef Burgundy in red wine
Beef Bourguignon. Recently after watching the movie "Julie and Julia" where the heroine is preparing this wonderful dish, I burned it cooking. The dish turns out very tasty, with a wonderful aroma of herbs and red wine.

Ingredients

  • Beef

    1 kg

  • Dry red wine

    350 ml

  • Broth

    500 ml

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Carrots

    3 piece

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Thyme

    2 piece

  • Parsley

    2 ml

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

  • Mushrooms

    400 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Olive oil

    4 Tbsp

Prepare all the needed ingredients.

Cut the meat into medium pieces, wash and dry with paper towel. This will allow the meat pieces to brown well.

In a pan pour olive oil, heat well and spread the meat in small portions. So the meat will be fried, not braised. Fry on all sides for a few minutes until crisp, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Prepared meat put in the cauldron and add the tomato paste, stir.

Fill with broth. For this dish, I used beef broth, but you can also use chicken.

Add the red wine. Use for cooking the wine we would drink ourselves.

Make a bouquet of spices, cover it and set on fire. Bring to the boil and swap the 170S in a preheated oven for 1 hour.

While the meat is cooking in the oven, cut the desired vegetables.

After an hour add the onions and carrots to the meat and returned a half hour in the oven.

For half an hour before serving is necessary to fry the mushrooms...
