Tortillas with sesame seeds
And a great addition to the pumpkin sauce (and not only) we had soft tortillas. In the original, in addition to the sesame seeds, use Chia seeds. Chia seeds are rich in fiber, vitamin C, antioxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids. In addition give a light acidity products and fragrance. If Chia seed is not available, you can substitute black sesame, caraway or poppy seeds.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Sesame

    40 g

  • Butter

    25 g

  • Water

    190 ml

From the ingredients knead soft and very elastic dough. To generate the ball out of it and put it in a greased bowl, cover with foil. Let stand for an hour or until dough doubled in size.

Remove from bowl, punch down and divide into 6 equal parts. Roll each into a ball, cover with a towel and let stand for 10 minutes.

Roll out each ball into a pancake with a diameter of about 20 cm.

Preheat the frying pan with a thick bottom on medium heat for two minutes, brush a small amount of vegetable oil (only for first bread). Bake every 1-2 minutes until Golden brown. Ready - to stack on top of each other, keeping them warm and soft. First fried yeast cakes. In my opinion, baked in the oven are tastier:)

Serve IMMEDIATELY with vegetable sauces or soups.
