Description

Lenten buns in the pan
Instead of bread and as a base for sandwiches. Very simple (as I like) and doesn't take time. The buns are soft and delicious. They can be served with different fillings - vegetables, salads, meat, cheese, pate, or just with butter. Kids love them with jam or sweet cottage cheese. Today I have miniature sandwiches with cheese, Korean carrot and greens.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Salt

    1.5 tsp

  • Yeast

    1.5 tsp

Cooking

step-0
Pour the flour into a large bowl and add the yeast and salt. Stir.
step-1
The water is slightly heated (to about 30-35˚). Pour water in a bowl and knead the dough.
step-2
The dough should not stick to hands. If they do - mix in a little flour.
step-3
Roll out the dough and press out circles with a glass. The thickness is about 5mm. Cover with a towel and leave for 30-40 minutes on the table.
step-4
So future rolls should suffice.
step-5
Heat the pan and put the slices. The fire must be small! Fast fire will burn and not cook. Buns in the pan even slightly increase.
step-6
Overturn. No need to pin down! Otherwise it will become flat. Fry on a slow fire on the second side. I have on each side of the leaves for 5-7 minutes. Stuffed buns I usually while they're hot. And they are eaten very quickly! If you submit later will hide the rolls under the film or in the package, otherwise dry.
