Well, it's time to bake Christmas cookies!!! Want to share a recipe for a delicious Greek kurabe, traditional Christmas Goodies!!! This recipe is from a small Greek town of NEA Karvali, where they bake the most delicious kurabe... little white lumps that melt in your mouth...

Cooking
So, the main point is the oil!!! The oil should only be natural, with no added botanicals. It is best to use sheep's butter!! But finding it is not always possible, so this year I chose natural cow butter. The oil should be at room temperature.
Beat butter for 5 minutes until a white air mass.
In the process, add the powdered sugar and vanilla, continue whisking for another 5-7 minutes.
Knead very plastic, white, dont stick to hands dough.
Sculpt small balls size of a walnut (about 30g). If you are preparing a version with almonds, the nut placed inside the ball. Vystelim the baking pan with baking paper and lay out rows of our cookies. Bake in a preheated 180 oven in the mode "TOP-BOTTOM WITHOUT BLOWING"for 15-20 minutes. Kurabe has a little browned, but the surface needs to stay soft-will not overdry it!!!
Now proceed to the final stage. We need floral water.
If flower water with atomizer, very convenient-you can just liberally sprinkle kurabe, as if I have no spray-lubricates the brush-abundantly!!!
In a dish pour the powdered sugar and wet kurabe coat thoroughly so that the powdered sugar stuck on all sides.
Finished snowballs lay on a dish and top again sprinkle with a little icing sugar.
