Description
This recipe is one of cooking options Norwegian Christmas caramel cookie - “karamellkaker.” I'm sure that I would have to say this is a terrific cookie for the holidays. Maybe the appearance is not the most beautiful cakes, but the taste... It's something divine! Crispy around the edges and in the middle, something similar to toffee. Spicy, with light honey notes... And insanely delicious aroma of spices will gather in the kitchen the whole family...

Cooking
Mix the dry ingredients: sifted flour, cane sugar, baking powder, oatmeal and spices (cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt).
Mix the wet ingredients: melted butter, yogurt and liquid honey.
Mix the dry ingredients with the liquid. (If the dough is very thick, add a little yogurt.)
Baking tray lay a parchment or silicone Mat. Put the dough to 1 teaspoon. Place the cookies far away from each other, because when baking it spreads. I'm not very big oven, so on 1 baking sheet I only put 9 cookies.
Place baking sheet in a preheated 190 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. The pastry should be Golden brown. Allow to cool and remove from pan. Part of the cookies I sprinkled with powdered sugar. Others smeared the edges with honey and decorated with colored sprinkles. But it's not required, they are delicious all by themselves!
