Cooking
First prepare the dough for that the yolks combine with the icing sugar and grind white
Add the softened butter (if I forget to get the butter in advance and it's cold and hard, I put it in the microwave for literally 30 seconds in the defrost mode) again grind until smooth.
Add flour and knead dough. Flour need to be careful - don't add it all at once, and knead first with a half of flour, then pour slowly - may even need a little more, but don't overdo it! The dough should not be sticky and such that it could roll out! Send it to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge - it's a little privatise and be a little firmer.
Now you need to grind walnuts in a blender or through a grinder. Walnuts are also very well cut with a knife
And then to not be distracted, in a small bowl whisk the egg to lubricate our cookies.
Chilled dough roll out on the table to a thickness of 1 cm using a glass cut out circles and place them on a baking tray with baking paper. The diameter of circles is arbitrary, in the oven, they almost do not grow up only slightly.
Now in every circle of your finger to press the holes (in them we'll spread the cherries).
Brush cookies with beaten egg.
Carefully sprinkle with walnuts. Put into a preheated 180 degree oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
When baking the cookies, prepare the cherries I picked the cherries frozen. In a saucepan put the berries and add sugar, can also add some aromatic touch (I added 1 tablespoon of brandy). And cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
So they must be brown; take out from the oven
For each cookie in the center put on berries cooked with cherry
And in 5 minutes you can put it on a plate. And of the remaining syrup from the cherries to make fruit milk or make them tea. (Of course, I prefer with milk and the syrup, I dissolved in 0.5 litre of milk and added 1 tbsp of sugar)
