Description

Ex-Chinese omelette with sweet & sour sauce. Once upon a time this dish was indeed Chinese, but changed over time to suit the taste of Europe and America. However, the omelet with chicken, shrimp and vegetables very good, simple and delicious and will become a full-fledged lunch or dinner with a side dish of rice. The addition of fillers (meat and vegetables) can be easily varied.

Cooking

step-0
For sauce mix sugar, vinegar, tomato paste, hot pepper and 200 ml of water. Bring to boil, stir the starch with the remaining water, put in the sauce and, stirring, cook until thick. The sauce should be quite thick, similar to jelly. If you have the opportunity and desire, it is good to add a few drops of sesame oil.
step-1
Prepare the ingredients for the omelet: chicken meat cut into small pieces, vegetables - I've got the mixture too thinly slice. Shrimp, if required, defrost and chop. I chilled tiny shrimp from the North sea, the local delicacy. They are unsightly, but very tasty. Chicken salt and pepper, you can add Chinese mixture of 5 spices, but can do without it.
step-2
In a pan heat the oil, very quickly fry the chicken without completely cooked, add the vegetables, also fried so they were very crispy. Pour the beaten eggs with salt, mix well.
step-3
As soon as the omelette starts to set, add shrimp, pan, cover and reduce heat. Shrimp, if you have already finished, as in my case, you only need to warm the eggs, but not fried, otherwise they will become rubbery. The omelette can be flipped and skumanich on both sides, but not necessarily.
