Description
Sicilian cassata is one of the most popular desserts in Europe. It is easy to prepare, but very elegant on the palate. In addition, cassatt can be done a week before the scheduled holiday and store in the freezer in a sealed package.

Cooking
In a saucepan, add sugar, add hot water. Put the saucepan over a medium heat, bring to a boil without a lid and boil the syrup for 10 minutes over low heat.
Proteins separated from the yolks. Whip whites into a thick foam. A thin stream, still whisking, pour in the hot syrup. Continue whisking until then, until the whites will not be stably hold on the rim.
Separately, beat into a soft mousse chilled cream to soft peaks and gently smeshaem into proteins. Add chopped chocolate and nuts (I had chocolate with hazelnuts, chopped and added it)
Vystelim the bowl with cling film so that the edges of the film hanging over the edges of the bowl. Put in a bowl of cream mixture. Cover free edges of the film. And put them in the freezer until firm.
