Sweet carrot cake
Very interesting and unusual pie! Perhaps most of all it will appeal to children, it is so much beloved carrots! Moms love to buy their baby this cake, because it continuous use! :) But in fact the adults of the pie was delighted, I didn't even expect it so everyone will like! Husband asked me to bake this cake again :)

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Brown sugar

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Water

    4 Tbsp

  • Carrots

    5 piece

  • Orange

    5 piece

  • Honey

    3 Tbsp

In the bowl of a food processor, combine flour, 45 g brown sugar and butter. Whisk until the state crumbs. Add 2 tbsp ice water (may need a little more) and blend again until the dough start to gather into lumps. Quickly knead it with your hands. Divide into 2 parts (more on the Foundation and less on the decoration), form 2 discs, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Carrot peel and grate on a coarse grater. Move to a pot or deep pan.

Of the oranges, squeeze the juice. Add it to the carrots along with pulp formed by squeezing.

Bring the carrot-orange mixture to a boil and cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes. Cool slightly and squeeze out excess liquid. Add brown sugar and honey. Try and add honey and sugar to your taste. You can still add your favorite spices, for example cinnamon, cloves, ginger.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll out the dough according to the diameter of the mold (22 cm) and place the base with bumpers.

Fill base with stuffing.

Of the remaining dough make some jewelry and place on top of stuffing. Brush with egg or protein with milk, sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until Golden brown.
