Stuffed pumpkin
I really wanted to cook a stuffed pumpkin! It is NOT SWEET! )) This pumpkin is very fancy in form, size, "texture", and most importantly, it was very fragrant and delicious! Now of this sort will always cook this stuffed beauty, moreover, with toppings you can experiment! The result is a complete, versatile dish. Very TASTY and looks beautiful on the table! Ingredients

  • Pumpkin

  • Chicken breast

Here's a pumpkin I got! Just three pounds. Smooth and very suitable for stuffing.

Chicken fillet cut into small pieces. Put in a deep plate, drizzle with lemon juice, salt, pepper and lightly drizzle with olive oil. Mix well and set aside to marinate.

Onion cut into half rings and fry with 2 tbsp olive oil until light Golden brown. Set aside.

Meanwhile, the zucchini cut into small cubes (instead of zucchini you can use other vegetables according to Your desire in the recipe-the original was red pepper).

Boil the rice until half done in lightly salted water. Cooked rice drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. It needs to crumble.

Wash the pumpkin thoroughly. Outline the line of cut and cut the top of the pumpkin with a sharp knife. To act carefully so as not to cut yourself! Using a tablespoon remove the seeds and part of pulp. Chop the removed flesh in small cubes.

In a bowl with the cooled rice, put the chopped zucchini and onions.

Add the chicken and pieces of pumpkin. All mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. The stuffing is ready!

Prepared pumpkin grease the inside with olive oil and a little salt inside.

Spread the pumpkin filling, lightly tamping. Sprinkle the butter pieces. Cover all the "lid" - top from the pumpkin, and put bake in a preheated 180°C oven for about 2 hours! Stay tuned for my oven, so the top doesn't burn much. Baking tray lay baking paper, I baked the pumpkin in a clay pan.
