Braided beef pie
Very tasty meat pie! Hearty, easy to cut /not falling apart and does not crumble/ ideal for a snack on the picnic. Importantly, it remains soft and fresh even on the 3rd day after cooking!

Beat egg /I cast 1/3 for greasing pie/, add a tablespoon of sour cream and mayonnaise.

Crumble the yeast in 60 ml lukewarm serum, add 1 tsp sugar and flour. Leave for 20 minutes to rise. Here is the dough, ready to eat.

120 ml warm serum pour in the egg mixture and stir. Sift flour with salt and sugar and add to liquid mixture.

Quickly stir the batter and leave for 20 minutes to swell the flour. Then lubricate your hands with oil and knead the dough. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place. I had warmed up to 30 degrees the oven with a glass of cold water.

Punch down the risen dough and let rise a second time.

While the dough is suitable, let us filling. Beef cooked with dry vegetables in a little water and grind. White onions finely chop and fry. Stir and season with soy sauce TM "Kikkoman".

Return the filling to the pan, add broth, butter and to extinguish on slow fire until the liquid is evaporated. The filling should be soft and not dry.

Roll the dough into a rectangle, visually divide it into 3 parts. On the middle layers, put the meat, chopped egg and green peas. The side parts are cut into strips. The dough feels sticky, but it's not terrible. The working surface should be sprinkled with flour, and formed a cake I'm baking.

To braid pie, brush with beaten egg and bake in preheated to 170 degrees /convection/ oven. I baked 35 minutes.

5 minutes until ready to grease top of cake with butter.

At least 3 days, the cake loses its taste and does not get stale. The cooking time given excluding the time spent on the dough rising.

These flowers bloomed in my garden, already quite suitable for a picnic! Going on a picnic, wrap the cake in foil and then heat it on the grill or on the coals from the barbecue.
