Pumpkin marinated
Pickled pumpkin I like to eat just like that without anything like dessert. When my children were little, they called it the pineapple pumpkin. This pumpkin I made for a side dish to beef.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin

    700 g

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Carnation

  • Cinnamon

    2 tsp

  • Vinegar

  • Water

Pumpkin peel and cut into cubes. Place in a saucepan.

Add sugar.

Add cloves and cinnamon. Pour the water and pour approximately 2 tablespoons of vinegar. If for a garnish, add the vinegar, and for dessert the lemon juice ( to taste ) or citric acid. Fill a pot with boiling water and put on a hot stove.

Allow to simmer for 10 minutes and off to not overcooked the pumpkin and not become soft. Remove from heat and give infusions. The pumpkin becomes translucent. A pumpkin can be served as a dessert with whipped cream and pour on top of fruit syrup or honey. The syrup in which the cooked pumpkin, very tasty!
