Pellet "Chapatti" is incredibly easy to prepare: just flour, salt and water, but try them at least once, it is impossible to believe that such great taste can be obtained so easily. On top of that "Chapatti" are baked on a completely dry pan, without oil, and the whole process of cooking takes just minutes. Happy to present you another miracle of Indian food - pellet "Chapatti"!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Butter

Prepare all the necessary ingredients - flour, salt (can be added), water (or whey) and butter for brushing tortillas.

Alternates thick batter. Think about something nice when you knead the dough, or read your favorite prayer - surprisingly, this greatly affects the taste of bread. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it on for 30 minutes. During this time the dough will ripen.

Moisten hands with any vegetable oil, roll the dough in flour and again thoroughly knead it.

Divide the prepared dough into equal pieces, the size of a small egg, and roll them into balls.

Flatten each ball into a pancake and roll it in flour.

Roll out a thin flat cake

And fry (dried) dry (without oil) in a frying pan until light brown spots. The tortilla should bubble up and swell.

Flip the tortilla to other side and fry until ready. Usually to prepare one pellet takes 2-4 minutes.
