Kopytka with meatballs
Continue to learn the book Pokhlebkin "Kitchen of the Slavic peoples". Today Belarusian cuisine dish with not a lot of funny name. Kopytka is a kind of toast made from potatoes rectangular shape. The dish is my fantasy. My husband-to kartofeleny really liked and he called this dish "hamburger in Belarusian". :)

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    300 g

  • Flour

    0.25 cup

  • Fat

  • Soda

    0.3 tsp

  • Minced meat

    200 g

  • Sour cream

    3 Tbsp

  • Onion

    0.5 piece

  • Mustard

    0.5 tsp

  • Greens

Cooking

Potatoes RUB on a small grater, the juice is not drained. Knead the dough, adding salt, soda and flour. Flour may need more, I added until the dough was no longer sticky.

The dough on a floured surface roll out to a thickness of 0.3-0.5 mm, cut into rectangles 5x4 cm

Fry them in a frying pan until Golden brown. Add to the pot with the lid tightly closed to poparilis.

Form patties the same rectangular shape according to your favorite recipe. Today I did that with mixed minced meat mixed with chopped onion, sour cream, mustard, salt and pepper. Rolled in flour and fried.

Potato toast should be soft, the author recommends soaking them in salted boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Then drain them on drushlag. You decide whether to do it, because without it they are already delicious.

The remaining sour cream mixed with chopped greens. Assembly - toast to grease sauce, put on top of another toast, again with the sauce, chicken and top with toast, smeared with sauce on the inside.
