Roast hussar
Roast hussar was considered an ornament to any menu. Unfortunately, nowadays it is undeservedly forgotten dish. I got it as a gift with the book "European kitchen". B section "Polish cuisine" and was this recipe is a very tasty dish with Polish cuisine a long and glorious tradition, so, ROAST AT HUSSAR!

Ingredients

  • Veal

    1 kg

  • Flour

    4 Tbsp

  • Onion

    4 piece

  • Salt

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Allspice

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Bread

    30 g

  • Vegetable oil

The selected piece of boneless veal lightly beat off a chopper, my piece was 600 g, the recipe is about 1 kg.

RUB the juice of half a lemon and put "rest" in the refrigerator.

Roll meat in flour.

And fry in 50g of butter from all sides until Browning.

Pour into the pan a little boiling water (I cook keep in the fridge the broth has warmed up in the microwave and added).

Cover with a lid and simmer for 45 minutes, turn it from time to time and, if necessary, topped up with boiling water.

Fry in another pan, do not let onion brown.

When 45 minutes have passed, take out the meat on the Board, let it cool and with a sharp knife, make parallel cuts, but not cut through to the end). My husband bought a ceramic knife to cut them - a pleasure!!!

The book suggest to serve this roast with mashed potatoes or with fresh cabbage, stewed with apples or tomatoes, I made mashed potatoes. Here, of course, begs the greens... but no... two slices with a filling in the middle is considered a single serving. P. S. I am sorry - very low speed, it was so sad, the first attempt to save the recipe failed, I had to add the recipe at step 1, testing the patience of the cook...
