Herring in mustard marinade
The first time I made this with some herring, so to speak, mistrust. But it turned out so delicious and savory that the table its just a "dare". I hope you will like!

Ingredients

  • Herring

    4 piece

  • Mustard

    50 ml

  • Sugar

    50 g

  • Vinegar

    30 ml

  • Honey

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    100 ml

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Instant coffee

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Pre-pickled herring myself. Cut into fillets without skin and bones.

Cut into portions.

Whisk until the flour is first, mustard, sugar, vinegar, honey, salt and coffee.

Then add the butter and again whisk well. Coffee just will not dissolve completely, but during marinating of herring is corrected.

Placed in a sealed container and marinate for at least 12 hours.

I applied on pieces of the monastery of the black (rye) bread with slices of lemon, a sprig of dill put. Bread is also a bit smeared with sauce.
