Chicken salad
This amazingly gentle on the palate, the salad was for me the discovery of the day! Recipe taken from the book "encyclopedia of Orthodox cuisine".

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    250 g

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Parsley

  • Almonds

    3 piece

  • Salt

  • Mayonnaise

Peeled apples and celery cut into thin strips.

Cooked chicken (I used breast) also cut into fine strips.

Almonds to grind. I decided not to much to chop and cut along as I could.

To prepare the dressing, mix in equal parts sour cream and mayonnaise. It turns out very delicate to taste the sauce. The original recipe indicated 1 tablespoon of cream and mayonnaise, but it is very small for such a number of products. I took much more mayonnaise and cream for the filling, all in 1:1 ratio.

Mix in a bowl the celery, apples and almonds, season with salt and pepper to taste and season with the prepared sauce. In the original recipe it was suggested to add sugar, but I didn't do it, and it was also suggested not to fill the salad, and spread out on plates and pour dressing on top. But given the fact that apples darken, and boiled chicken itself a little dry, I decided to fill at once, so the chicken soaked in sauce, and the apples not purchased unsightly.

The result surprised me. Despite the fact that celery and apples are hard, the salad was surprisingly sweet, very pleasant taste. But still very useful. Just a storehouse of vitamins. In General, I'm happy! I hope enjoy you! Bon appetit!
