Umach halva
Halva can be prepared from ordinary flour, but in our family all love umach halva.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Salt

  • Sugar

    1.5 cup

  • Water

    1.5 cup

  • Saffron

  • Melted butter

    250 g

Cooking

For umach: 200 g flour 0,5 Cup water a pinch of salt To the sifted flour add salt and water little by little (can you say - drops), RUB through a colander to were all the same size and neat;

the flour grinded with water (UMACH), leave overnight to dry.

Cook the syrup of sugar and 1.5 cups of water and add the saffron.

In hot pan put the butter.

In the melted butter gently sapim umach

and fry until Golden brown.

Then add the syrup very carefully!!! Mix well to avoid lumps,

the syrup should completely evaporate. It remains only oil, prepared paste can be easily separated from the pan.

Put in a bowl and decorate.
