Cake Aleksandrovskoe
Estonian: "Aleksandri Kook". This simple and delicious cake. In Estonia, perhaps, not to find any bakery or cafe, where it would be impossible to buy this treat! Importantly, its preparation is simple.

Ingredients

  • Sugar

    150 ml

  • Flour

    500 ml

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Jam

    200 ml

  • Juice

    25 ml

  • Powdered sugar

    200 ml

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder. Add the butter at room temperature and turn it all into crumbs. I did it with a knife - just all chopped. You can just knead by hand or beat with a mixer.

Add the egg and knead the dough. The resulting dough is put for 15 minutes in the cold.

When the dough is slightly cooled roll out between two sheets of baking paper. Then, remove the upper sheet of paper and directly on the lower sheet, transfer to a baking sheet and put in a preheated 175-180° oven to bake, about 15 minutes.
