Description
I, like many, has its own, proven and a favorite recipe of the cake. But I can't pass up some new and interesting recipe. It was the recipe of the cake in the form of a pyramid, describing Golgotha-the place of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and in the preparation of the dough will need only half of the eggs! And, of course, I baked-the cake turned out delicious, fluffy, sweet and a weightless, that is. And the addition of saffron gives it a special touch

Cooking
To prepare the dough-in a little warm milk, add 100 g of sifted flour. Add dry yeast TM"SAF-time"
Knead the batter. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place (I put near the battery for 30 minutes)
Before the increase in volume in 2 times, and blistering.
When the dough is ready, beat with a mixer butter room temperature, salt, lemon zest and sugar for 2-3 minutes until cream
Beat egg with a fork. In the sugar-oil mixture pour half of the egg (the other half leave for lubrication of the cake) and beat again for 2 minutes
Add saffron, crushed in a mortar, and beat 1 minute
In the ready dough to spread oil mixture, add the raisins and pour the remaining (250g) sifted flour.
Knead smooth, dont stick to hands dough. Cover with a towel and put it in the delay before the increase in volume in 2 times in a warm place (I put in the slow cooker on the "Control" of 35 degrees - I did it in 1 hour)
Ready approached the dough, knead well until smooth, roll out the layer of 0.5 cm thick-I flour for podpira not required-if necessary, add as needed. And now we have to cut with different cooking plates, lids, jars 7 circles (which has a suitable diameter, for me this is the hardest in the making of this cake). I advise you to consider this question, if you want to bake this cake (I will add that the effort I have was 16 cm, and the top-2 cm)
Put all the circles in a pyramid on a baking tray lined with baking paper and greased. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 20-30 minutes
Before baking brush with remaining beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes (focus on your oven)until dry sticks-need to check to be sure the full height of the cake (!).
From all test I have left here is a piece I baked it with the cake-turned bun
Ready cake cover with a towel and allow to cool. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar
