Caucasian rice in a slow cooker
This recipe shared with me friend, however, this is done in a pot but the slow cooker also came in handy. Pilaf managed. The rice turned out crumbly and fragrant.

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    400 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Figure

    350 g

  • Salt

  • Spices

  • Raisins

    150 g

  • Butter

    50 g

Cut the chicken into desired size pieces. I got 4. Put immediately in a well greased slow cooker. Add salt, spices and chopped onion. Mix, let marinated until we make rice.

In boiling water add the rice. Water should be plenty. Cook rice 7 minutes until soft. Drain.

Pour the cooked rice on top of meat in slow cooker. Put on the frying mode for 40-50 min (depending on slow cooker). If small pieces, then 30 minutes is enough.

When ready, add butter. Stir rice, close.

Meanwhile, soak the raisins in boiling water for 1-2 minutes.

Add the raisins to the pilaf. Mix rice. Close to steep for 15 minutes Before serve, mix rice with meat. Ready!
