Apricot-vanilla jam
Presenting a bright and rich apricot jam. Its charming scent blends with a hint of vanilla and definitely will impress young and old sweet teeth.

Ingredients

  • Apricot

    500 g

  • Sugar

    250 g

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Vanilla

    2 pack

  • Galereya mix

    1 pack

Cooking

Apricots are good to wash.

Cut into halves, remove pits.

Halves of apricots put into a saucepan and add 50 ml. of water.

Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat. Apricots have a good "steam" and become soft.

Grind apricots immersion blender until smooth.

Then mash apricots through a fine sieve to get rid of skins, but this is not necessary.

Mix the sugar, vanilla and quittin. Because we use quitting, then the sugar needed in half.

Mashed mass return to the saucepan, add the sugar with vanilla and quitting. Mix well, bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes.

Ready hot apricot jam pour into sterile banks and close with sterile lids. I got a jar 0.5 l+ approximately 150 ml sample :) Keep the jam in a cool place.
