Description
Gratin in French language means "crisp", which is formed by melt cheese. I want to offer a version of this dish made with seasonal vegetables - potatoes and pumpkin. The food is hearty, despite the lack of meat products, as well as very tender and flavorful.

Cooking
Pumpkin peel and remove the seeds. Cut the pumpkin cubes.
Take a small potato to make circles. Peel the potatoes, rinse with water, cut into not too thick slices. When the potatoes are already sliced, no need to rinse it with water to remove the starch.
In a saucepan pour the milk and add the cream. In warm milk add the potatoes and pumpkin.
Add the nutmeg, salt and pepper. Boil the vegetables in the milk until tender.
Remove the pan from the heat and add chopped parsley.
Cheese to grate on a coarse grater and add to the pot. Mix well.
Put the mass into the form and sprinkle with grated cheese. The form put in a warm oven and bake until Golden crisp. Served gratin hot. Bon appetit!
