Fruitcake
Got my mom a cookbook of a famous Ukrainian folk cook Daria Tsvek, sometimes I use this cookbook when tired all modern publishing. Thing to me there fruitcake, only I changed the filler shall be a mixture of dried fruits, but I substituted apples. Was pleased with the result, the dough is moderately sweet and juicy-watery.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Sugar

    325 g

  • Chicken egg

    6 piece

  • Apple

    600 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Leavening agent

    3 tsp

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

  • Cognac

    2 Tbsp

  • Cinnamon

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Apples cleaned and cut into cubes of medium size, sprinkle with juice 1/2 part lemon.

Butter cut into cubes and soften in the microwave.

In softened butter gradually add sugar while whipping the mass. There also add vanilla sugar and salt.

Whisk in the lush mass.

In the whipped butter one by one enter the eggs, still whisking.

Beat until fluffy smooth.

In a bowl sift the flour and baking powder.

Introduce gradually into the egg-oil mix the sifted flour with the baking powder.

Knead until smooth. Add the brandy, stir.

Detachable form grease with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

1/2 of the dough to spread in shape and evenly distributed throughout the form.

On the dough spread 1/2 of apples, sprinkle with sugar (50 g) and cinnamon.

Apples to lay out the second part of the dough and spread evenly.

Repeat the layer of apples with a sprinkling of sugar and cinnamon.

Send cake in a preheated oven until t 180 C for 40-50 minutes. (Check the readiness by splinter, I have cared more.) If top of cake starts to brown prematurely, cover it with a sheet of baking paper (it will not let him burn). I did later, the top is burnt.
