Description

Banana cake with caramel sauce
The recipe for this pie has been proofread by me a couple of years ago in one glossy publication and is owned by Jamie Oliver. Honestly, I'm some skeptical of the recipes published in the gloss, but still decided to try. In the end, everyone knows that the man in the kitchen bad cook)) I Can say that I am sooooo much and the cake caught on with me. Forgive me Jamie, I changed the proportions to your taste...and here it is, the result is tender, just melting cake with slices of bananas and cinnamon. With coffee just perfect. Aroma is such that I immediately imagine myself sitting on the veranda overlooking the sea, and admiring the sunrise...Ah...))

Cooking

step-0
So! Dates, pitted fill with boiling water and leave for a few minutes, then drain the water and grind them to a paste.
step-1
Softened butter (a little less than half our rate), beat with sugar until fluffy (I put even less than a quarter Cup of sugar for my taste, dates are sweet enough), add eggs, sifted flour, baking powder or soda with lemon juice, cocoa and cinnamon (I take a good pinch because I just love cinnamon), mix everything thoroughly.
step-2
Add the yoghurt and dates, stir. It turns out that kind of dough.
step-3
Cut the bananas into slices.
step-4
Spread the batter mixed with bananas in a baking pan (or, in the good old frying pan like me). Put in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes.
step-5
And while the kitchen extends the flavor, make sauce - brown sugar (if no brown, ordinary coming, too), cream and remaining butter heated in a saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has become thick and brown.
step-6
Remove the finished pie from the oven, extracted from the forms and pour the sauce. It remains only to boil the coffee......and enjoy...
step-7
Bon appetit!
