Daikon tempura
Simple, but unusual and tasty dish. Offered in a Great post to bring a little exoticism to your diet.

Ingredients

  • Daikon

    130 g

  • Flour

    60 ml

  • Potato starch

    60 ml

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Daikon peeled and cut into thin long slices. It is easy to do with a peeler.

Pour in a ladle of vegetable oil TM Oleina set to heat up on the fire. Make a batter. Mix flour, starch, red pepper and salt. Stirring constantly introducing water to a thick pancake dough.

Take the plate of daikon and screwed it on the fork spiral.

Dip the spiral in the batter and drop it in boiling oil. A spiral fry in deep fat about 8-10 minutes. Can and longer fry will be crispy. Try to keep the swirls didn't stick to the bottom. Do not worry if some slices will refuse to twist - the taste is not affected.

Ready remove daikon with a slotted spoon, allow to drain oil. Put daikon on paper towel to soak up excess oil. Wanted to take a picture as spirals are fried in oil, but there are so seething that the pictures are blurred.
