Orange cupcake with marzipan

  • Dried fruits

    250 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Brown sugar

    170 g

  • Orange juice

    160 ml

  • Orange zest

    2 tsp

  • Chicken egg

  • Marzipan

  • Powdered sugar

  • Lemon juice

Not very finely chop the dried fruit. If necessary, wash them.

Put it into a saucepan or bowl the butter, sugar and all dry fruits. Add fresh orange juice and zest. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and boil for 5-7 min Then leave to cool.

Lightly whisk the eggs. Fry and coarsely granulate nuts. Add the warm ground. Mix.

Sift and add the flour and baking powder. Grate the ginger and add to the dough. Also add cardamom. Mix well. The dough will be thick, but flowing.

Wrap it in a paper or plastic bag at room temperature. When serving, the cake can be decorated with icing or powdered sugar. I made the glaze by mixing together icing sugar, water and lemon juice. For this you need to combine everything in a bowl and mix well with spatula. Decorate the top of the cupcake.
