Description
Preparing for the New year kozuli and wanted something similar, but less troublesome. A friend also shared your recipe, I slightly changed it "for yourself", and it turned out delicious, fragrant gingerbread. Slightly tart flavor burnt sugar goes well with spices, it tastes Tula gingerbread; eaten quickly, baked the evening before night shift, morning came to the remnants :).

Cooking
In an aluminum pan, heat 0.5 cups of sugar until rich brown color (should be bright and not-then not give the desired flavor, not dark -- will taste bitter),
Pour into pan heated to 70-90 degrees serum (caution! there's lots of steam can burn), add 1 Cup sugar, turn off the heat, add the butter, slightly cool, add sour cream and beaten eggs, and cinnamon, cloves, soda and baking powder
Add about 3 cups of flour, knead the dough (like thick cream), pour into greased pan, I was deep frying pan with a diameter of 28-29 cm
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180-200 degrees.
Prepare a glaze of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon of water (to boil syrup until thick thread) and lubricate the surface of the gingerbread.
Can be cut in half and sandwiched with jam or jam (I had apricot). Enjoy your tea!
